Ernest Allen was born on the 10th of February 1888 and survived the Titanic. He was 24 years old when he was on the Titanic.

This is a picture of a group of men who worked on the Titanic. Ernest is not in the picture, but he wore clothes just like these men.

Ernest was a worker in the Engine room of the Titanic. His job was called a "Trimmer" which means he had to bring coal to the fires of the engine.

One interesting thing I learned about Ernest was that his brother worked on the Titanic with him, doing the same job.

He died on the27th of February 1968. He was 80 years old when he died.
